CLINICAL PATHWAY - A NEW OPTION FOR FMGs !!

The major aim of clinical pathways is to give rise to evidence based practice and support its very implementation. When a specific pathway is followed, one can easily assume that there will be minimal or no duplications, as there is a standardized procedure involved.

The best way to learn about standard of care Rx is by having expert mentors and people who can guide the students. This is where Medical Student Rotations physician mentors come in handy. We have established courses of 2-3-4 & 6 months where in FMGs/IMG who have not been able to match in NRMP programs and likely face the reality of going back to their home countries to settle in practice there. These doctors and physicians will rotate with Internal Medicine & ICU consultants learning management of a variety of patients and learning procedures like Intubations, Catheterizations, Central lines , Life support, Ventilator Mx etc.. Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonary and ICU to gain clinical experience and knowledge to manage patients following standard of care in USA. They take this knowledge of the CERTIFICATION COURSE back with them to their home countries to practice and benefit people there.
