Accommodation

Accommodation options are available both on double occupancy and single occupancy within 3 to 5 minute walking distance from the hospital. Single occupancy rate is $1250 and double occupancy at $850. Once you have paid the Rotation fee, and the accommodation fees we will connect you to the landlord.

Description of the Rotation

The Jackson Park Hospital clinical rotation is associated with the residency program and its faculty

Hospital Overview:
Jackson Park Hospital serves a diverse population, including Caucasians, Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Indigenous, and inner-city communities. The clinical experience is exceptional, with exposure to a wide variety of pathologies and state-of-the-art diagnostics and treatments.

Daily Schedule
  • Hospital Rounds: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., with optional Saturday hours if interested
  • Schedule may vary according to the attending physician’s discretion
  • The student will rotate with various faculty members, as well as the Program Director and Associate Program Director.
 
Outpatient Clinics
  • Students participate in outpatient clinics 1–2 times per week, approximately 4 hours per session
 
Student Responsibilities

Rotating medical students will actively participate in patient care by:

  • Collaborating with residents, fellows, and attending physicians
  • Attending didactics, lectures, and grand rounds as required
  • Performing detailed history taking and physical examinations
  • Reviewing labs and patient notes
  • Formulating differential diagnoses, assessments, and treatment plans under supervision
  • Following up on all patients under their care daily
  • Participating in discharge planning and execution

This rotation emphasizes hands-on clinical experience, teamwork, and patient-centered care, providing a strong foundation for residency training.

  • 50% refund if the rotation is canceled before 4 weeks of the start date
  • No refund if the rotation is canceled within 4 weeks of the start date
