So, for rotation no.2, you will be 5\nminutes walking distance for your rotation. You will stay at the same place\nand do rotation no.1. It is 10-15 minutes away, and you can get there by\nbus or Uber. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tWhen you are on service, you\u2019ll be rounding with the Attending Physician at\nthe Baylor Scott and White Medical Centre in the hospital. Your day will\nstart early, around 7:30 AM, and go on until 2:30 PM every day of the week\nand sometimes even on Saturdays.\n

\nThe schedule will be one week on and one week off for the Baylor rotation,\nand for the other two alternate weeks, you will rotate at Presbyterian Allen\nrotation. This will last four weeks, so you will work two weeks at Baylor and\n2 weeks out of the month at Presbyterian rotation. However, your total\nnumber of hours in each rotation individually would be the same as it would\nbe over four weeks. Your LOR will also reflect that you have done the\nrotation for a credit of one month.\n

\nStudents may also be required to attend didactics, lectures, and grand\nrounds. As a team member, you will observe interaction with diverse\npatients, learn history-taking and physical examination skills, assess labs,\nintegrate labs in the case for assessment, and plan discussions with the\nattending physician. The students will follow up on all patients under their\ncare every day, along with and under the attending physician's direction.\nThey will also observe and participate in discharge planning and execution.\n

\nThis is a UNIQUE ROTATION<\/b><\/u> for medical graduates, as you will get two\ndifferent rotations and two different LORs in 1 month\u2019s time. You will save a\nsignificant amount of money.\n

\nThis clinical initiative is designed to prepare foreign medical graduates\n(IMGs) for the US clinical environment (USCE) by providing them with a\nvariety of clinical experiences in different settings. You will have the\nexperience as a clinical learner under the supervision of 2 teaching\nattending physicians. At the end of your rotation, you may request a\nperformance-based letter of recommendation from your attendings.\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
