\n\t\t\t\t\t\tHospital Inpatient rounds daily<\/b> AT JPH Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students will do 2 Saturdays\/Sundays in the month as well. Students will be exposed to Sleep and EMG\/EEG lab<\/b> as well. They will rotate with the CHIEF of<\/b> Neurology at the Hospital. Times are subject to change as per the attending\u2019s schedule. Outpatient clinics 1-2 times a week for roughly 4 hours. Students may also be required to attend didactics, lectures, and grand rounds. The attending physicians will inform the students of the schedule at the beginning of the rotation. Rotating Students will interact with the residents\nfrom the residency program in managing the patients, interact with the\nnurses to facilitate the care of the patient, and interact with other faculties\nand subspecialties in the overall care of the patient.\n

\nThis is a unique learning experience for medical graduates who are\ncommitted to becoming effective, successful residents. You will see an array\nof patients with various disorders and learn their Rx and Mx. The hospital and\nclinic initiatives are designed to prepare foreign medical graduates (IMGs) for\nthe USCSE by providing them with hands-on clinical experience. You will\nlearn the United States Health Care system under the supervision of a\nteaching attending physician. At the end of your 4-week rotation, the rotating\nstudent may request a performance-based letter of recommendation on\nHospital letterhead. While participating as a member of the team, you will\nlearn to interact with diverse patients and perform detailed history taking\nand physical examination, check labs and notes on the patient. Formulate a\ndifferential diagnosis and execute an Rx plan for each patient under the\nattending physician\u2019s supervision and guidance.
