Accommodation
Accommodation options are available both on double occupancy and single occupancy within 3 to 5 minute walking distance from the hospital. Single occupancy rate is $1250 and double occupancy at $850. Once you have paid the Rotation fee, and the accommodation fees we will connect you to the landlord.
Description of the Rotation
Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology Rotation
Rotation Duration: 4 weeks
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Rotation Overview
This rotation provides exposure to both diagnostic and interventional radiology, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in:
- Diagnostic Radiology:
- Assessment and interpretation of X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other imaging modalities
- Interventional Radiology:
- Procedures for peripheral vascular arterial diseases, including stenting and dilatations
- Central access, catheter placements, and arterial embolization
Learning Opportunities
- Supervised training under attending radiologists
- Exposure to both diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures
- Opportunity to pursue research in radiology by consulting with mentors
- Develop practical skills in patient assessment, imaging interpretation, and interventional techniques
