Accommodation

Accommodation options are available both on double occupancy and single occupancy within 3 to 5 minute walking distance from the hospital. Single occupancy rate is $1250 and double occupancy at $850. Once you have paid the Rotation fee, and the accommodation fees we will connect you to the landlord.

Description of the Rotation

Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology Rotation

Rotation Duration: 4 weeks
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Locations: Hospital and outpatient radiology centers

Rotation Overview

This rotation offers exposure to both diagnostic and interventional radiology, providing a comprehensive understanding of imaging and procedural techniques. Students will gain hands-on experience in:

  • Diagnostic Radiology:
  • Assessment and interpretation of X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other imaging modalities
  • Interventional Radiology:
  • Procedures for peripheral vascular arterial diseases, including stenting and dilatations
  • Central access, catheter placements, arterial embolization, and other minimally invasive interventions
 
Learning Opportunities
  • Work under the supervision of attending radiologists in hospital and outpatient settings
  • Gain practical experience in both diagnostic interpretation and interventional procedures
  • Explore research opportunities in radiology by approaching mentors during the rotation
  • Develop a strong foundation for understanding the role of imaging in patient diagnosis and management
