Accommodation

Accommodation options are available both on double occupancy and single occupancy within 3 to 5 minute walking distance from the hospital. Single occupancy rate is $1250 and double occupancy at $850. Once you have paid the Rotation fee, and the accommodation fees we will connect you to the landlord.

Description of the Rotation

Hospital Rounds
  • Daily rounds in the morning or afternoon, depending on the attending’s schedule
  • Monday to Friday: Approximately 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Optional Saturday participation for interested students
  • Timings may vary based on the attending physician
  • Rounds include in-patients on the medical floors and ICU patients with Internal Medicine conditions
 
Clinical Components
  • Hospital Rounds + Clinic Experience with full EMR access
  • Hands-on training throughout the rotation
  • Weekly Nursing Home/Elder Care rounds as part of the rotation schedule
 
Academic and Clinical Responsibilities
  • Attend didactics, lectures, and grand rounds as required
  • Engage with diverse patients as an active member of the healthcare team
  • Perform detailed history taking and physical examinations
  • Review labs, imaging, and clinical documentation
  • Formulate differential diagnoses and create assessment and treatment plans under attending supervision
  • Follow up daily on assigned patients
  • Participate in discharge planning and execution
 
Overall Experience

This rotation provides a unique and immersive learning opportunity for medical graduates committed to becoming successful residents. It is specifically tailored for international medical graduates (IMGs) to gain hands-on exposure to the U.S. clinical environment under the supervision of a teaching attending physician. At the end of the rotation, students may request a performance-based Letter of Recommendation (LOR) on official hospital letterhead.

Refund Policy

Full payment is due 6 weeks before the rotation start date. You can also pay the entire rotation fee at the start without putting a deposit down. 50% of the amount will be refunded if rotation is canceled before 4 weeks of the start date. No refunds after that.
