Accommodation

Accommodation options are available both on double occupancy and single occupancy within 3 to 5 minute walking distance from the hospital. Single occupancy rate is $1250 and double occupancy at $850. Once you have paid the Rotation fee, and the accommodation fees we will connect you to the landlord.

Description of the Rotation

Hospital Rounds
  • Daily morning rounds at Glen Oaks Hospital
  • Monday to Friday: Approximately 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Students may choose to participate on Saturdays, depending on the attending’s schedule
  • Timings may vary based on the attending physician
 
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Engage with diverse patients as part of the clinical team
  • Conduct detailed history taking and physical examinations
  • Review labs, imaging, and clinical notes
  • Develop differential diagnoses and create assessment/treatment plans under attending supervision
  • Follow up daily on all assigned patients
  • Participate in discharge planning and execution

This rotation offers a valuable learning environment for medical graduates who aim to become successful, well-prepared residents.
Designed especially for international medical graduates (IMGs), it provides hands-on exposure to the U.S. clinical system under the supervision of a teaching attending physician. Upon completion, students may request a performance-based Letter of Recommendation (LOR) on official hospital letterhead.
