LOR Type

Two individualized Letters of Recommendation on Hospital Letterhead from two separate Attending Physicians, based on performance, sincerity, and attendance. Both LORs will carry official faculty designations from teaching hospitals affiliated with Rosalind Franklin University and University of Chicago.

Rotation Type

In-patient, hands-on, 100% clinical. Maximum 4–6 students per faculty.

Rotation Structure

1. Two Weeks at Jackson Park Hospital (Rosalind Franklin University affiliated) with the Chief of Service
2. Two Weeks at University of Chicago AdventHealth Glen Oaks Hospital with the Chief of Internal Medicine/Neurology Dept./ Nephrology Dept

Rotation Fee

Rotation Breakdown

Jackson Park Hospital (2 Weeks):
  • Internal Medicine with Chief of Service
  • 3–4 hours daily
  • ICU and floor rounds
  • Patient interaction, full H&P, assessment & plan
  • Real-time case discussions
  • 100% hands-on experience
University of Chicago AdventHealth Glen Oaks Hospital (2 Weeks):
  • Internal Medicine with Chief of Internal Medicine/Neurology Dept./ Nephrology Dept
  • 4–6 hours daily
  • ICU, Critical Care, and floors
  • Exposure to complex cases
  • 100% hands-on experience

Payment Policy

• Full payment due 6 weeks prior to rotation start
• 50% refund if canceled before 6-week window
• No refunds after that point
