Accommodation

Accommodation options are available both on double occupancy and single occupancy within 3 to 5 minute walking distance from the hospital. Single occupancy rate is $1250 and double occupancy at $850. Once you have paid the Rotation fee, and the accommodation fees we will connect you to the landlord.

Description of the Rotation

Clinic Hours & Patient Exposure
  • Clinic operates Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Students will observe the care of 10–15 patients per day.
  • The attending physician will take students for hospital inpatient rounds during clinic hours for 1–2 hours, depending on patient census and clinical needs.
 
Neurology & Diagnostic Lab Experience

Students will gain exposure to:

  • Sleep Lab
  • EMG (Electromyography) Lab
  • EEG (Electroencephalography) Lab

They will rotate with the Chief of Neurology across both the clinic and the hospital.

Academic & Scheduling Details
  • Schedule may vary depending on the attending physician.
  • Students may be required to attend:
  • Didactics
  • Lectures
  • Grand Rounds
  • The attending will share the full schedule at the beginning of the rotation.
 
Clinical Responsibilities

As part of the clinical team, students will:

  • Interact with diverse patients
  • Take detailed patient histories
  • Perform physical and neurological examinations
  • Review labs, imaging, and clinical notes
  • Formulate differential diagnoses
  • Create and execute treatment (Rx) and management (Mx) plans under supervision
  • Follow up daily on assigned patients
  • Participate in discharge planning and execution
 
Learning Experience Overview

This rotation provides a hands-on Neurology and Internal Medicine experience ideal for medical graduates committed to becoming strong residents. Students will see a wide range of disorders and learn their diagnosis, treatment, and management strategies.
The program is designed to prepare international medical graduates (IMGs) for the US clinical environment (USCSE) and provide an understanding of the U.S. healthcare system.

Letter of Recommendation

At the end of the 4-week rotation, students may request a performance-based Letter of Recommendation (LOR) on official hospital letterhead.

  • 50% refund if the rotation is canceled before 4 weeks of the start date
