  • Rotation Overview
This rotation provides exposure to both diagnostic and interventional radiology. Students will gain hands-on experience in:
  • Assessing diagnostic radiology cases
  • Learning various imaging modalities, including:
  • X-rays
  • CT scans
  • MRIs
  • Other advanced imaging techniques
  • Learning Opportunities
  • Students will work under the supervision of attending radiologists and may gain practical experience in interpreting images.
  • In addition to clinical exposure, students can approach mentors for research opportunities in radiology.
  • This rotation provides a strong foundation for understanding imaging in patient diagnosis and management.
  • Clinical Responsibilities & Learning
As part of the radiology team, students will:
  • Interact with attending radiologists and radiology staff
  • Learn to review and interpret diagnostic images
  • Understand the role of imaging in clinical decision-making
  • Participate in image-guided procedure observation (interventional radiology)
  • Develop foundational knowledge of radiology workflows in a hospital setting
  • Completion and Recommendation
At the end of the 4-week rotation, students may request a performance-based Letter of Recommendation (LOR) on official hospital letterhead.

  • Payment & Refund Policy
  • You can book your rotation before 2 months of rotation start date by paying $350 deposit which will be counted towards your total rotation fees. If cancelled, it is nonrefundable.
  • ⁠Full rotation fee payment is due 2 months before the rotation start date.
  • You can also pay the entire rotation fee at the start without putting a deposit down.
  • ⁠50% if the total fees paid will be refunded if rotation is canceled before 4 weeks of the start date.
  • No refunds after that (within 4 weeks of start date).

Research in Radiology: Students can approach mentors for research opportunities in radiology during or after the rotation.

Image Interpretation: Gain practical experience in interpreting X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs under supervision.

Interventional Radiology: Exposure to image-guided procedures and interventional techniques.
